La Rivolte, Grasse, Cote dAzur, France (Bed and Breakfast (B&B)) La Rivolte is a magnificent 19th century mansion set in 2 hectares of Mediterranean gardens with a jade green heated swimming pool. The villa has spectacular panoramic views over the Bay of Cannes and the Mediterranean. There are 8 provençal bedrooms, all 7 in the house having sea views and the annex bedroom in the garden, Herb Cottage, has a small private garden area with patio and table and chairs. There are 2 salons for our guests, one with satellite TV, piano, DVD player and games console, video player and a large selection of DVDs and videos. The other room is a library/reading room with a selection of guide books on the area, maps and novels. Breakfast is either served in the large kitchen/dining room with open fireplace or out on the terrace. La Rivolte is just outside the medieval town of Grasse, known as the world capital of perfume. It is an excellent base from which to explore the Côte d'Azur. Nice, Antibes, Cannes, St. Tropez, Monaco, St. Paul de Vence are all just a short drive away and the Nice Côte d'Azur airport is a 30 minute drive away. The Italian border is an hour away.
