Le Cerisier, Beziers, Languedoc Roussillon, France (Bed and Breakfast (B&B) & Self Catering) Our home in Saint Genies de Fontedit is at least 150 years old, that we know, and until 1955 it was the home of a local Vigneron. The cave or garage still retains vestages of it's wine growing past and the twin bedded room in the top floor was originally a hayloft. We are just 15km north of Beziers and 1 hour away from Montpellier airport. Whilst a lot of time has been spent on upgrading facilities, the house retains all of its character and many of its original features. A traditional Languedocian staircase climbs from the hallway through the first floor and up to the studio apartment. All the oak beams used in the roof structure have been treated and left revealed. Original terracotta tiles have been uncovered and are slowly being cleaned, restored and sealed. The well in our garage will eventually provide water for our washing machine and our cherry orchard is the perfect place to relax. Like many homes in the centre of centuries-old French villages, our garden is separate from the house. It, is in fact, a cherry orchard and just 400mtrs down the road from the house. Almost invisible from the lane, nestling among the vineyards, we have created a haven for our guests to relax in either sun or shade and enjoy the tranquility of the surrounding countryside. There is a barbecue for the use of our guests and areas of sun and shade have been created to offer you the perfect place to devour your paperbacks or just top up your tan. All bedrooms are provided with en-suite facilities and a comfortable bed for all our guests was a priority. Our dining room is large and airy and a comfortable sitting room with a library of paperbacks is available to guests at all times. The decor throughout the house exudes a feeling of calm and tranquility that complements the peacefulness of our lovely village and the life we lead.

Bed and breakfast Reservations 1) For bookings of one to three nights full payment in advance is required. A cancellation fee equal to one nights room charge will be taken in the event of cancellation or non-arrival. 2) For bookings over 3 nights a 50% deposit will be required. A non-refundable deposit equal to two nights room charge will be taken in the event of cancellation or non-arrival. 3) PLEASE NOTE THAT WE REQUIRE A MINIMUM BOOKING OF 3 NIGHTS IN JULY AND AUGUST Apartment Reservations 1) Bookings made more than 6 weeks in advance require a 50% deposit. The balance is due on arrival. A confirmation will be sent on receipt of all payments. Once a booking has been confirmed we will charge an administration fee of euro90 for cancellations, we will use our best endeavours to secure another booking however, if we are unable to do so, the full hire charge becomes due for payment 6 weeks before your holiday was due to commence. If due to any occurance beyond the control of the owner or his agent, the accommodation is unavailable as booked eg. fire, flood etc, all monies paid will be refunded in full but there will be no further liability towards the hirer. 2) Bookings made less than 6 weeks require full payment. 3) It is in the best interest of yourselves that comprehensive holiday insurance is obtained. Payment can be made by credit card through the PayPal system, a secure on-line payment service used by over 25 million people.
