El Almendral, 03578 Relleu, Alicante, Spain (Small Hotel) El Almendral is a small hotel set in an area of great natural beauty in the countryside of southern Spain. It is only thirty minutes from the beach, forty from Alicante airport, but a world away from bustle. We offer great tranquility, luxurious rooms, a gourmet restaurant, stunning views and the opportunity to relax around our large pool or on our 80 acres of almond groves and hillside. We are 500 metres above sea level which reduces the heat this part of Spain can get and provides cooling breezes to soothe the most troubled brow. Between September and June we offer Spanish and English language classes and Spanish and Mediterranean cooking classes. We offer many activities but one of the easiest is just sitting and spotting the myriad birds the region has whilst sipping a refreshing drink.
