Almond Reef, Sorbas, Almeria, Spain (Bed and Breakfast (B&B)) Almond reef is a delightful restored farmhouse Bed and Breakfast in a quiet rural hamlet in the region of Almeria, Spain. The perfect place from which to explore the beautiful Spanish countryside. Our restored Cortijo is situated in the tiny sleepy hamlet that's is Los Josefos. Here our neighbours still bake bread in the traditional domed bread oven and farm almonds like generations before them - hence our name Almond Reef. Los Josefos is a short walk from the white painted village square of Los Alias. There you will find a small geological museum, Church and a tiny village school. The square also serves as the school playground, meeting place and venue of the village's three day fiesta at the end of August. Set amongst tranquil almond, olive, orange and lemon trees one of the first things you will notice is the clearness of the air. Almost the only sounds that can be heard are the those of the bird song and goats bells. Almond Reef is an ideal base for any clubs / associations and for church groups wishing to organize a retreat. We will offer all facilities required.
