La Buena Vida, Los Gallardos, Almeria, Spain (Bed and Breakfast (B&B)) Our Villa. Situated in the countryside our villa has two guest bedrooms, a double and twin with private facilities. Fully central heated in winter and air conditioning in the summer. Heated swimming pool with plenty of room to sunbathe. With one hectare of land we have numerous olive, lemon and orange trees. On our western slope we have planted grape vines, our next project will be to make our own wine. Location. We are perfectly situated being just 40 minutes from Almeria Airport. Located north east of Almeria in the province of Andalucía, our home nestles amongst the Los Filabres and Cabrera mountains. Our nearest village is Los Gallardos found between the mountain ranges of Bédar and the Aguas River. Mojacar playa, boasts of 5 km of beach with numerous shops, bars and restaurants an ideal place to spend the day. A short drive to Vera Playa with wide fine sandy beaches and the aqua water park is good fun for young and old alike. Garrucha a fishing village steeped in history where you can buy fresh fish most days or visit the many fish restaurants and sample delicates such as lobster, octopus and the large prawns. Your Hosts. We previously ran a small hotel in the Lake District, we decided to retire to Spain. Upon completion of our newly built villa in spring 2004 we missed the buzz, now we are open for business as a small bed and breakfast.
