This highly spacious and comfortable property retains all of its Limousin charm, with beamed ceilings and stone and chestnut floors, and is set in an idyllic rural location where you can sit and admire the views across the picturesque Creuse Valley. If you are feeling particularly energetic, why not try your hand at tennis on the professional all-weather tennis court, or perhaps a laze in the swimming pool is more your thing? 'La Creuse' is an area of outstanding natural beauty within the Limousin region, known as the 'Lake District of France', located halfway between Paris and Toulouse. It is a land of beautiful lakes, upland pastures and forestry, with stunning gorges along the River Creuse having inspired many impressionist painters including Claude Monet. This wonderful countryside offers a wealth of activities for you to enjoy, with lakeside beaches, canoeing, fabulous walks, numerous cycle trails and extensive fishing all close by. Or you can simply relax in this peaceful corner of hidden France. Bed & Breakfast Accommodation We offer three luxurious double rooms and one twin-room: The exceptionally spacious ground floor room has a king-size bed and large en-suite shower room. It also benefits from an independent entrance and French windows leading out onto a small terrace, plus countryside and garden views. On the first floor are 2 beautiful rooms, one king size with private bathroom and one double with en-suite, with chestnut floorboards and lovely views. A single bed is available for inclusion in these rooms if required. On the second floor is a twin room, which can be combined with one of the first floor rooms to provide accommodation ideal for a family visit. § There is a small guest lounge where you are welcome to sit and relax. § Tea & coffee making facilities are provided in all rooms, with complementary homemade biscuits for you to sample! § A cot and highchair are available. § Guests are welcome to wander around our 1-acre garden, or just find a place to sit, enjoy the peace and quiet and watch the bountiful birdlife around you. Bed and Breakfast (B&B) & Self Catering Booking Conditions
Provisional Bookings Remain firm for two weeks pending the return of written confirmation within 14 days accompanied with a deposit (sterling or Euro cheque), equal to that of the first night’s stay. Cancellation In the event of cancellation, please advise us immediately. We will attempt to re-let the room and return your deposit less a handling charge of £15. Should we be unable to re-let the accommodation you will be charged for 2/3 of the total cost of your stay. Insurance You are strongly advised to take out holiday cancellation insurance Arrival and Departure Your accommodation will be ready for you to occupy from 4-8pm and must be vacated by 10am on the day of departure. Please let us know if you will be arriving at any other time. Guest Numbers The number of people occupying the accommodation must not exceed the number stated without written approval.
