Villa Blanca, Limones, Granada, Spain (Bed and Breakfast (B&B)) Villa Blanca is a country guest house, on the edge of the village of Limones (Lemons). It is an area of natural beauty, unspoiled by tourism, where you can sink into the relaxed way of life, eat country food, and enjoy the wild birds, butterflies, and flowers. There are some fabulous walks, modest mountain ranges, Moorish castles and watch towers, and pine forest. The swimming pool is a beautiful fresh water lake (it's like an inland sea) a few kilometres away. And, all this is only 20min. from Granada Airport which now has direct flights from the UK. Villa Blanca is entered through a walled patio, decorated with plants and shrubs, where it is possible to sit in tranquility. At the rear there is a large sun terrace with spectacular views of the Sierra Limones, 200m away, the village, and a vast panorama of undulating fields and olive groves stretching for 15km. There is a shaded dining area, and sun loungers, chairs and tables etc. are provided. Inside, there is a guest living room with music centre, and a library of books and games. The two en-suite bedrooms both have ceiling fans, hair dryers, tissues, soap, and a courtesy tray of tea and coffee. Las Olivas has the best view with a shower room. Las Rosas has less of a view (although it is still possible to see the castle at Alcala la Real 15km away), and a bathroom. There is a choice of breakfast, including a cooked breakfast, pack lunches are prepared by request, and a small dinner menu is offered(6 choices of all courses - tapa, 3 courses, wine, coffee and liquor for £15 per head). There is also a drinks list. Beach towels, chairs, sun umbrella, picnic table, portable BBQ etc are available for hire. Twenty minutes outside the city of Granada, in the direction of Cordoba, the Ruta del Califato, the designated route which explores Southern Spain's Arabian past, passes through the area. It is also close to the borders of three of Andalusia's most authentic provinces - Granada, Jaen, and Cordoba. The main roads to Malaga (1hr 30min), Seville, and Almeria are within easy reach.

A 25% deposit secures the booking with the remainder due 4 weeks in advance, by cheque. Cheques should be made payable to Lauren White. Credit and debit card payments are accepted in advance through www.paypal.com. For late bookings cash in euros on arrival is requested please.
