Trascampanario, Ecija, Sevilla, Spain (Bed and Breakfast (B&B)) Drew and Isabelle would love to welcome you to their 18th century town house and show you around the beautiful sights of Ecija, Cordoba, Seville and Granada. Drew is British and Isabelle is French. The renovation of their elegant house was done by local architects and artisans, but the furniture is mostly colonial Indian with French modern art on the walls. There are 4 double bedrooms (2 with twin beds, 2 with double beds), all with shared but direct access to large bathrooms with shower and toilet. You can enjoy the well appointed library with a good CD and DVD collection. The living room has a large open fire place for burning olive wood on the few weeks when the evening temperature drops under 15° C. Breakfast is taken on the patio by the fountain or indoors and there is a choice of continental or English, with the Spanish option of bread, garlic, olive oil and ham available for the brave. You will be able to visit the most important sights of Andalusia (the great Mosque of Cordoba, the Alcazar Palace in Seville, and the Alhambra in Granada) at your own pace, and if you choose, with your own guide as Isabelle has a degree in Spanish history and literature (see our website for tarifs). Or just wander about Ecija and discover its many palaces, convents and churches. If you like walking, natural parks abound in the area, with marked trails over lovely hills dotted with large reservoirs. Our private swimming pool set in the large garden will allow you to relax, unless you prefer a drink by the fountain in the patio. Animals accepted by prior agreement. Smokers please use the garden!
