Le Chardon Ecossais, Aubusson, Creuse, France (Bed and Breakfast (B&B)) Le Chardon Écossais Chambres et Tables d’Hôtes, (Bed & Breakfast and Evening Meal), provides high quality accommodation and an indoor swimming pool to enjoy after a day spent fishing, bird watching or walking in the spectacular countryside around the historic town of Aubusson in Creuse, the undiscovered jewel of France. Our lovely village house has recently undergone complete refurbishment to the highest standards, and now offers accommodation in 4 beautifully appointed rooms, 3 doubles and 1 twin, each with en-suite facilities. Alongside our fabulous heated indoor swimming pool we also have a Sauna and the pool room has five sets of double doors leading onto 2 large sun terraces. In the garden you can enjoy a game of "petanque" or badminton or just sit, relax and enjoy the view. Back inside we have 2 lounges for your exclusive use, one of which has broadband internet access, a small library and loads of board games. The other has two big comfy leather sofas. The surrounding countryside is fabulous for walking or cycling and due to the abundant trees, great for birdwatching. There are many historical towns and villages close by including the medeaval tapestry town of Aubusson which has a museum and factory tours where you can watch how tapestries are made today.
