Cave Ancienne offers new, comfortable holiday apartments and rooms (bed & breakfast) or half pension in a former (1880) recently restored winery estate (Sat-TV, telephone,air-conditon, heating...). Calmly located at the entrance of the idyllic wine village, Cave Ancienne is situated centrally and an optimal starting point for the historically interested (Routes de Cathares) but also for Sport and Fun enthused. Bikers, mountain-bikers and hikers - paradise! Motor-bikers wellcome. Guided tours (english) can be arranged! Also painting and french-lessons! The variety of the environment (cultural, nature, sport, mountains) is amazing and impressive. The successful mixture of old external walls, the still present charm of the former winery estate and and the modern and comfortable furnished apartments and rooms according to Hotel standard will make your stay in this extraordinary and worthwhile region a success. The closed-off and private interior yard with play and game meadow, grill place and a cosy yard with garden furniture, is gratefully used and is a meeting place of our guests coming from all different countries. Starting from 2004 we offer also half-board (dinner) and snaks and drinks during the day to our guests. Multilingual reading material (travel guides, maps...) can be lent free of charge. Children care (also in the evening) is available on request.
